We are closely monitoring the current situation and ongoing Government Guidelines as well as ensuring the School is Covid Secure.
While we acknowledge that as of 19th July 2021 it is no longer law to socially distance or wear face masks we continue to take precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and students for the foreseeable future. This includes:
A Negative Lateral Flow Test on the start day of the course (and possible future tests depending on the length of the course)
The wearing of face masks for all students and staff
We are now taking bookings for 2022/23 onwards.

This Course :
- Day One - Fretwork, level, crown, and polish. Fine sanding. Glue in the neck.
- Day Two - Applying finish, using our range of Water or Spirit-based Stunning Stains.
- Day Three - Oiling the instrument. Assembly. Set-up.
Learn these skills in a fully outfitted workshop with an experienced instructor and training assistant guiding you through each and every process. We are here to answer all of your questions and ensure you leave with all of the knowledge needed to repeat the procedures covered.
Time constraints mean that custom designs are not available on this course. Things like inlay or body carves are similarly restricted in order to enable the majority of students to finish their instrument within the timeframe.
The kit guitar is included in the price of the course and the hardware can be purchased through us at an additional cost to the course. You may, however, choose to bring your own hardware, if you wish. Please let us know when you book your course dates to confirm that you will be bringing the correct materials.
Pick from one of our 5 Kit styles:
- 'MF' (LP-type)
- with Dot Inlays
- with Trapezoid inlays
- 'SRP' (PRS-type)
- with Tremolo Cavity
- without Tremolo Cavity
- P Bass
