I am somebody who has dabbled at Guitar set up from YouTube videos but with hopeless results so I took the plunge. To cut to the chase, I am so glad I attended. I took my Gibson SG to work on. I had always had buzzes and choking out and was never able to get that nice low action. During the course, I levelled, crowned and polished the frets, made and fitted a new nut and set it up with .08 strings. It plays brilliantly and the tuning is more stable.

I also did a complete refret on a practice guitar and left fully confident that I can repeat this at home.

I liked that the course was 3 intense days of being fully hands on - no classroom style teaching. The instructor Dom was great,he would give a brief 1-1 demo of each step and leave me to do the rest whilst being very aproachable and helpful if questions and difficuties arose.

It was a joy working along side others who were building guitars with amazing shapes and finishes and in a really friendly atmosphere.

They also helped me find cheaper accomodation for my overnight stay. I am now considering further courses.
