3 days to the London Guitar Show - Stand 244
Once again I apologise for the lack of updates this week.. understandably this is the busiest period of my life! Still, it'll all be good once I actually get to the show! Here are just a few bits that came together over the last few days..
this is an X-Symbol model ready for all her guts..
Gotoh tuners.. on a backwards headstock..
since it has only a single pickup the controls are much simpler.. here I start shielding the cavity
the nut is cut from a bone blank.
and the control plate is made out of a piece of blue-tinted perspex..
and the jack plate recessed onto the control plate.. looks great!
and here she is!
Dennis Tirch's tricked out Robert Fripp model.. once the hardware and strings have been put in place..
halfway through the wiring process..
then there is more!.. look at the specs here for an idea of what is in this beast!
a stack of cases with guitars.. nearly ready for the show.. just the final setup to go on most of these!
a fully wired up and vibrating beauty..
