1

the boys decided that the detritus of the weekend potato harvest was more interesting than our most recent familial additions.. (more later..)

2

this backplate is cut to fit the Wilkinson trem system..

3

and a new template for the recess is cut to size..

4

..the routing..

5

and here she is..

6

the neck of Fabio's 7 stringer is marked onto the rough template

7

many body blanks are cut to size..

8

carefully planed perfectly flat

9

and glued.. this one is for Nevio's RF Slimline with a Deep set neck tenon..

10

through-neck.. the excess wood where the figured cap will live is cut away.

11

and then various instruments are glued together..

12

..our latest familial additions.. egg laying machines - very handy!!  and curious..

13

Fabio's template (built based on a full-scale design sent all the way from Italy..) is fine rasped to shape..

14

and we need a template for Jason's guitar, a new design based on the ubiquitous Jackson/Ibanez etc mould..

15

the bobbin-sander is used to shape the curvy bits (really really good technical term!)

16

the template is used to mark out the almost guitar

17

..same goes for Fabio's unique seven-stringer..

18

and then, after putting a much smaller blade on the bandsaw, the bodies are all cut out..

19

and we end up much much closer to a succesful 10 guitar run..

All my best, Ben..
