It rather looks like I haven't done very much work today, that is not the case.. at least i know I hardly stopped for the usual 14 or so hours.. oh well..

1

fiddly work, this tunematic is being converted to a roller bridge, swapping the saddles out is bloody awkward..

2

still it is neccessary for the Bigsby system.. here I measure up to check that everything is in line

3

pickups, surrounds, bigsby and strings.. we're getting there

4

and then all the hardware etc it's all branded gretsche and my logo is not going on the headstock.. too derivative for me.. but it is not a direct copy and the gretsche logo will not be on the headstock.. so there's no real fear of this being considered a fake..

5

still, rather stunning if you're into the retro thing...

6

the pickup surround is marked with the exact shape of the pickup

7

it's cut out with a jewelers saw... carefully

8

and slots in place perfectly..

Tomorrows diary will be even more limited as I am planning a major offensive against the dust and general untidyness of the workshop!  I shall be organised!! (the last wailing cry of the terminally untidy and dusty luthier!!)
